Study residence and off-campus internships
A study status does not automatically authorise off-campus work or an internship. Check the required school letters and residence-document endorsement first.

Keep study and work permissions separate
The National Immigration Administration states that a foreign student who needs a work-study arrangement or off-campus internship should obtain consent letters from the school and internship organisation and apply for the relevant annotation on the residence permit.
Because an individual case can depend on the city, school and activity, confirm the steps with the university’s international-student office and the local exit-entry authority before starting.
Plan renewals before the last week
Track the expiry dates of the passport, visa or residence permit and any school registration documents. Use the National Immigration Administration service guidance or the 12367 hotline for current procedures.
Ask before agreeing to an internship
Tell the international-student office where the activity will take place, who hosts it and what you will do. Ask which school and host letters are needed and whether your residence document needs an endorsement.
Keep dates visible
Track the validity of your passport, residence document and school registration. Save the permission record before starting an off-campus activity. If your host or activity changes, check whether the approval needs updating.
