How the matching works
The result is deterministic: the same stored answers and release version generate the same ranked options. The model weighs stated subject interests first, then teaching-language preference, planning-cost posture, city preference, career direction and academic average. It creates three options from the currently available catalogue. It does not use generative AI to choose universities or make admissions claims.
How scholarship matching works
If you answer Yes to the three stated requirements, the report tells you that you meet the requirements for scholarships offered by the Chinese Government and prioritizes matching Chinese Government Scholarship routes. If you answer No, FUNLINK assesses provincial, municipal and university scholarship routes using your programme, city, budget and academic profile. Whether you can apply for or receive a scholarship depends on the current policy and your overall academic performance.
Limits you should understand
The initial catalogue is bachelor-focused. If you select a master’s, doctoral or language-preparation goal, the report warns that the current catalogue cannot make an equivalent full-level recommendation. Tuition and admission fields are reference points with annual confirmation labels, not live assertions.
